DESCRIPTION:Please join the NASTEC Professional Education Committee and the National Academy of Education for Evaluating and Improving Teacher Preparation Programs: A Consensus Report From the National Academy of Education; a webinar discussion with Linda Darling-Hammond\, of the Learning Policy Institute\, Kenneth Zeichner\, from University of Washington\, Yelena Bailey\, from the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board\, and Patrick Halladay\, of the University of Vermont.\n\n\nPanelists will discuss the Evaluating and Improving Teacher Preparation Programs consensus report which provides critical\, evidence-based recommendations for teacher preparation program (TPP) evaluation and improvement and the systemic changes necessary to improve teaching as a profession.
