Angela Calabrese Barton

Calabrese Barton has authored more than 150 articles and book chapters, along with 8 books. She is a Fellow of the American Education Research Association, and of the American Association for the Advancement of Science. She also has served as a WT Grant Distinguished Fellow, and has been a recipient of the National Science Foundation Career Award and a National Academy of Education/Spencer Foundation postdoctoral fellowship. She is a former co-Editor of the Journal of Research in Science Teaching and is co-Editor of the American Educational Research Journal. Her research has won numerous awards, including the Exemplary Contributions to Practice-Engaged Research Award an American Education Research Association-wide award, the National Association for Research in Science Teaching (NARST) Early Career Award, and the NARST Distinguished Contributions to Science Education through Research Award, among others.
