Diana C. Pullin, J.D., Ph.D., is Professor Emerita of Education Law and Public Policy in the Lynch School of Education and the School of Law at Boston College. The focus of all of Dr. Pullin’s work has been the improvement of access to meaningful education. She is both a lawyer and scholar, and the range of her expertise reflects her experience: She has published extensively on public policy and testing, educational leadership and teaching, and the impact of social science on legal decisions in education. She has litigated major class action lawsuits and advised numerous attorneys on education law issues. Dr. Pullin is a Fellow of the American Educational Research Association, a Lifetime National Associate of the National Academy of Sciences, and served on the Board on Testing and Assessment of the National Research Council of the National Academy of Sciences. She was formerly Associate Editor and Co-editor of the interdisciplinary journal Educational Policy.
