Oct 29, 2018

We express our deepest condolences to the victims, their families, and the entire community of the Tree of Life*Or L’Simcha Synagogue in Pittsburgh. This violent tragedy claimed the lives of 11 worshipers gathered for Shabbat prayer on the morning of October 27, 2018. We are grateful to law enforcement responders who risked their lives to apprehend the shooter and protect the community. We as a community continue to support efforts to eradicate anti-Semitism and hate in all forms. Our hearts are with those in mourning.
